On May 12, 2026, representatives of Lukasiewicz – New Chemical Syntheses Institute took part in the LIFE 2026 Program Days event under the theme “Success Stories of Polish LIFE Beneficiaries”, organized by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Warsaw.
The institute participated in the event as a partner of the LIFE22-CCM-EL-DIMITRA project “Valorising anaerobic digestates into bio-fertilizers for climate friendly agriculture,” co-financed by the European Union (CINEA) and the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.
During the event, representatives of the Institute were present with a project booth, where they presented the assumptions and results of the project to date. The initiative focuses on the development of modern technologies for the management of biogas plant digestate and its transformation into biobased fertilizers, supporting the development of climate-friendly agriculture. The project involves the implementation of solutions that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve nutrient use efficiency, and fit into the idea of a closed-loop economy.
Participation in the LIFE Program Days provided not only an opportunity to promote the results of the project, but also a space to exchange experiences, build relationships with national and international partners, and hold discussions on the future of green technologies and sustainable industry. The event brought together experts, beneficiaries and representatives of administration and business involved in the implementation of environmental and climate projects, creating a platform for cooperation for effective environmental transformation.
