About the Institute
We conduct scientific, research and development work and commercialize the results of our work. We combine science and modern technology with the challenges of the economy. We work on innovative solutions in the chemical industry. We create technologies and products that increase the competitiveness of companies in the chemical, petrochemical and fertilizer industries. Our proven technologies concern the complex modernization of processes for the production of synthesis gases, hydrogen, ammonia, nitric acid, production of catalysts and sorbents. We focus on sustainable development – we develop green technologies such as CO₂ extraction, biodegradable polymers and modern fertilizers.

Our Patron
The patron of our Research Network is Ignacy Łukasiewicz, born in 1822 in Zaduszniki – a Polish pharmacist, entrepreneur, social and patriotic activist, philanthropist and pioneer of the oil industry.
