Characteristics
Liquid substance, soluble without limitation in water and in potassium carbonate solution. A mixture of amines with a carbon chain length of C2-C8, containing 1-5 primary and secondary amine groups. Does not change the corrosive properties of the carbonate solution – there is no need to change the corrosion protection of the installation.
Application
Potassium carbonate solution promoter for use in industrial installations for the removal ofCO2 from process gas by the Benfield/Carsol method. The use of the activator makes it possible to reduce the concentration of CO2 at the outlet of the absorber, increase the efficiency of the installation, reduce the loss of activator and anti-foaming agent.
