Representatives of Lukasiewicz – New Chemical Syntheses Institute took part in a mission organized by the Lukasiewicz Center to the JRC Community Research Center (Joint Research Centre) JRC Petten is a research and evaluation unit. European Commission, conducting work in the areas of hydrogen technology, electrolysis and energy storage, among others.
A total of 15 Institutes of the Łukasiewicz Network participated in the event, including our Institute. During the meeting, Lukasiewicz – INS experts presented the profile of the Institute’s activities, research achievements to date and directions for further development, with particular emphasis on hydrogen technologies and applied catalysis.
The visit to JRC Petten provided a good opportunity to identify complementary research areas and discuss potential forms of cooperation. It also made it possible to get acquainted with the possibilities of the JRC’s advanced research infrastructure, which can support the development of projects carried out at the Institutes of the Lukasiewicz Research Network.
