Interior of INS-27C in the ammonia synthesis reactor
The solution is to replace the interior of the reactor, without significant changes to the external pressure vessel. As a result, it is possible to use catalyst with a fine grain size (1.5-3 mm) and easy catalyst feeding thanks to the segmented interior design. The technological benefits are: a reduction in energy consumption of about 65 kWh/t NH3, a reduction in hydrogen (H2) consumption of about 10 Nm3/tNH3 and an increase in production capacity of 13-16%.
Catalytic basket in ammonia oxidation reactor
The institute offers the design and supply of a catalytic basket mounted in an ammonia (NH3) oxidation reactor, without major changes to its design. A catalyst layer for the decomposition of nitric oxide(I) (N2O) is placed in the basket. The design of the basket ensures even distribution of the catalyst layer and thus uniform flow of the gas stream, resulting in a high efficiency of nitrogen(I) oxide (N2O) removal of up to 95%.
