The IHGC Hop Congress is an International event bringing together hop growers, hop suppliers, and industry experts. This year’s Congress, held in Lublin from July 29th to August 2nd, was hosted by the Polish Hop Growers’ Association, with Łukasiewicz – New Chemical Syntheses Institute as a Scientific Partner.
The IHGC Congress offered a diverse agenda, featuring formal IHGC meetings in Lublin, where the situation in the hop market and brewing industry was discussed, visits to Institutes in Puławy, hop plantations, and the J.A. Szałas company, even touring of interesting cultural places in the Lublin region.
At our promotional stand in the Lublin Conference Center, participants had the opportunity to get familiar with the Łukasiewicz – INS’s offer on supercritical CO2 extraction, including the possibility of producing extracts from hop. Information about our offer and production capabilities were expanded upon by Rafał Reszczyński, Head of the High-Pressure Processes Department, who delivered a lecture during the visit to IUNG-PIB in Puławy titled: Supercritical CO2 extraction plants in Łukasiewicz – INS.
