On 14.09 \u2013 16.09.2022 in Zagreb, Croatia, \u2018\u2019the 4th Conference on natural resources, green technology and sustainable development\u201d took place. This Conference continues to successfully cover the following areas: ecosystem modelling and management, sustainable production of food, green technologies, bio-mass and bio-based industry, environment and climate change.<\/p>\n

GREEN2022 associates experts from different fields all over the world to present and share their latest scientific achievements and face the challenges regarding difficult issues.<\/p>\n

This year, Sie\u0107 Badawcza \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 Instytut Nowych Syntez Chemicznych was represented by dr. Stoja Milovanovic who presented scientific results of the project carried out with \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 INS: Application of a green solvent for production of high value biologically active plant and algae extracts<\/em> under the ULAM Programme financed by the National Agency for Academic Exchange.<\/p>\n

Dr Stoja Milovanovic carries out studies on supercritical fluid extraction of Taraxacum officinale seeds<\/em>, This plant is the undervalued raw material in spite of its vast range of biological properties for many applications. In her poster presentation: Supercritical CO2 extraction from dandelion: the effect of pressure on extracts yield and composition<\/em> (authors: Stoja Milovanovic, Agnieszka D\u0119bczak, Katarzyna Ty\u015bkiewicz, Marcin Konkol), the author showed the presence of valuable biologically active compounds in dandelion seeds with high anti-oxidising properties.<\/p>\n

There were 71 oral presentations given and 64 poster presentations delivered.<\/p>\n
