Protection of Personal Data<\/strong><\/p>

The \u0141ukasiewicz Research Network \u2013 New Chemical Syntheses Institute, hereinafter referred to as \u201c\u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 INS,\u201d acts as a data controller processing personal data as part of its operations. The processing of personal data by \u0141ukasiewicz\u2013INS is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016\/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95\/46\/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), hereinafter \u201cGDPR,\u201d \u2019s Act of May 10, 2018, on the Protection of Personal Data, and other generally applicable legal provisions. The primary objective of \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 INS with regard to the processing of personal data is to protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of natural persons in connection with the processing of their data. <\/p>

Information clause<\/strong><\/p>

According to the content of Article 13 and Article 14 of RODO \u0141ukasiewicz – INS is obliged to provide information in case: <\/p>

  1. collection of data from the data subject;<\/li>
  2. obtaining personal data by means other than from the data subject.<\/li><\/ol>

    Pursuant to Article 12(1) of the GDPR, this information is provided by \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 INS in a concise, transparent, understandable, and easily accessible form, using clear and plain language. Information regarding the processing of personal data is provided by \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 INS in writing, including electronically. In accordance with Article 12(5) of the GDPR, \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 INS does not charge any fees for providing information pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of the GDPR. If the data subject\u2019s requests are manifestly unfounded or excessive, in particular due to their repetitive nature, \u0141ukasiewicz\u2013INS may: <\/p>

    1. charge a reasonable fee, taking into account the administrative costs of providing the information or taking the requested actions;<\/li>
    2. or refuse to take action in response to the request.<\/li><\/ol>

      The onus is on \u0141ukasiewicz – INS to show that the demand is manifestly unreasonable or excessive in nature.<\/p>
