As a result, it is possible to use catalyst with a fine grain size (1.5-3 mm) and easy catalyst feeding thanks to the segmented interior design. The technological benefits are: a reduction in energy consumption of about 65 kWh\/t <sub>NH3<\/sub>, a reduction in hydrogen (<sub>H2<\/sub>) consumption of about 10 <sup>Nm3\/t<\/sup><sub>NH3<\/sub> and an increase in production capacity of 13-16%.    <\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1920\" src=\"https:\/\/lukasiewicz.gov.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/50\/2025\/12\/Kosz-katalityczny-w-reaktorze-utleniania-amoniaku--scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\">\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<h3>Catalytic basket in ammonia oxidation reactor<\/h3>\n<p>The institute offers the design and supply of a catalytic basket mounted in an ammonia (<sub>NH3<\/sub>) oxidation reactor, without major changes to its design. A catalyst layer for the decomposition of nitric oxide(I) (<sub>N2O<\/sub>) is placed in the basket.
